Buendia Font Family
Buendia is an exploration into what a type family can be beyond the traditional suite of progressive weights and widths. It is the graduation project from César Puertas when he was enrolled at the KABK Type & Media master course. He structured his unique series into six styles with distinct but matching flavors: grotesque, rounded, slab-serif and transitional — all based on the same skeleton but with different finishing. The weights range from a thin and medium sans, via the elegant roman and italic serifs, a cosy bold slab, to the extra beefy rounded sans.
There are two versions of Killer Ants, regular and bold. Regular is a very cool cracked up looking font that will be great for all kinds of stuff. Bold is on of the most distressed fonts I've ever seen - there’s crap everywhere - adjust your leading (line spacing) so the grunge overlaps and you have one awesome effect. Yes, those dots are actually smashed ants. Killer!
P22 Tuscan Expanded Font
P22 Tuscan Expanded is a digitization of the mid 19th century wood type font "Antique Tuscan Expanded - Wells & Webb 1854". Specimens of this font are rarely, if ever, seen with a lower case. It is noted in the book "American Wood Type 1828-1900", by Rob Roy Kelly that the lower case is "missing". This version was digitized from a recently discovered full set including all lower case plus ff ligatures. One unique feature of this design is the heart shape formed in the V, X & Y.
